I am pleased how much we have done this year in pushing electronic invoicing in the newsagency industry. Over the period, we have activated many newsagents suppliers for electronic invoicing. None of them is a routine or easy task. Each had its own problems.
Much of it is because the DDO is a complex file to produce. To produce it, requires a programmer. Also it has so much in it, checking it is a big job. So many suppliers see it is a big expense.
Over the past few months, we have been working with a newsagency supplier Axiom to get them going in electronic invoicing using Xchangeit files. Yesterday we succeeded in fixing the problems. It now imports.
Now all newsagents, not just our clients can have electronic invoices from Axiom. It will save Axiom's clients time and help them manage their stock better.
