You can instantly obtain your figures instantly.
Here is how you do it.
Go to cash register reports.
Select in sales
Dissection Sales /Profitability for a given period
Now run this report for the last 12 months
What you get is the profit, measured in both dollars and your margins.
The final row is what I highlighted. This displays the scanning issues you are having, which I also advise you to look at.
