Unionpay is the largest Chinese payment network and the second-largest payment network in the world, only Visa is bigger?
And it is the main EFTpos card used by Chinese's tourists in Australia. They spend a lot about $8,000 a trip and on an average a Unionpay transaction in Australia is about $780. So I am pleased to say come January we will have a solution to handle it direct so bypassing the dearer option that many have had to do now.
