Every now and then we get a support from someone that although the till balances they think something is wrong. So what can they check.
One item that we recommend is checking in transaction enquiry, see green arrow to get there.
Note the two questions marked in red. This is because a popular method of taking money out of the till is using on cash transactions discounts and voiding transactions. You can stop them altogether, but some business require these two facilities. Often it's not even money but simply a staff member giving a friend a special concession like one case we had recently, we found a $60.00 book had a discount of $58 making the sale price $2.00.
