People are now doing much of their work outside of their shop or office.
Yesterday, for example, while waiting for about half an hour at a pub for some people, I was working on a stock order, then read and wrote a few emails on my laptop as I can work our point of sale software anywhere at home, the shop, a cafe, etc. If I do not have WIFI there, I can use my mobile phone as my Internet provider, free as my plan like most mobile plans today have a decent data allowance. Besides saving time, what I also notice is that as I am out of the box, it’s easier to think differently. Plus as I am away from the distractions of my workplace, I can concentrate more on the task.
