You do not stop, and it's my obsession Kate?????

Before I begin, Kate, I think it's important to state that I like an honest discussion. My priority is delivering excellent service and solutions for our customers. So, if you have any feedback or suggestions for improvement, I’d love to hear them.

> Thankfully I do not answer to you.

Lucky for you, if you answered me, you would have to provide evidence and facts to back up your argument. I asked what Tower meeting you went to to discuss the current takeover of Tower Systems. What did they say about the new owners? You said nothing.

> I remember what your customer meetings were like.

So you use our software, can I ask who you are?

> I much prefer the meetings at Tower

Some do, and they take a much more formal approach. We have an agenda but tend to drift away from it. I am told they tend to stick to the agenda and only allow questions at the end. Some customers may prefer a more formal approach like that. Our style is more flexible and designed to encourage open discussions, but we’re always looking for ways to improve. I will keep this in mind for your next User Meeting.

> and that I have access to their Facebook forum

We ensure our customers have multiple ways to engage with us—through Facebook, email, or direct phone access—so they can always get the support they need.

> and direct access to mark and the others.

My phone and email are widely distributed, and you can access that, too.

> Like I said, they live rent free in your head.

As I said, they do not.

However, now the new name for Tower Systems, MECCSMMO, means puzzling, and I like a good puzzle. We know that it was done just before the announcement of the Tower sale and almost certainly because of the sale. I suspect that the reason was that Tower Systems' assets and name were to be transferred, and Mark kept an empty holding company; there are sound legal reasons why people do that. When you sell your shop, you sell the name, the assets, etc., but keep the holding company. So, I am starting to think that MECCSMMO sounds like a name that an accountant could have created for administrative purposes rather than branding or marketing. If this is the case, the name likely holds significance only internally (e.g., representing initials, codes, or placeholders) and isn’t meant to convey meaning to the public.

> Your latest comment shows your lack of experience in the newsagent business. Alex, the boss at Are Direct is someone who has been at the company for many years. Most newsagents know him.

He has indeed, but I have never dealt with him.

> I really think could benefit from concentrating more on your own business.

My focus is on ensuring our business delivers the best value to our customers, and any comparisons I make are for learning and improvement purposes. I remember being told by a supplier I greatly respected that you must look at what your customers see. The business exists for them, and you must look at your business from their point of view. He gave me this poster, which is still on my wall. Gandhi was a very clever man.
